CatURpillars

History

CatURpillars sprang into life in September 2005, after the church building had been modernised with flexible space created for wider use.

The first year was most encouraging with a growing attendance and now those who come along can enjoy the benefit of easier access to the building with ramp access, modern toilets and baby changing facilities.

The Aims of The Group

To provide a safe environment where children can learn as they play and to provide an environment
where mums, dads and carers feel accepted, included and valued.

Sometimes toddler groups can be very hard places for parents and carers to go to, especially if they are going on their own.  People tend to stick in their groups and don’t always include others.  We intend to make sure everyone feels welcome and supported in this vital role of bringing up their child.

Questionnaire Comments

Every so often at CatURpillars we give out a questionnaire to the parents and carers to see if there are ways to improve how we run the sessions. We had some very helpful constructive comments that we will incorporate into the group and loads of positive comments that I have typed out for you to see below.  A testament to everyone involved in CatURpillars in any way, be it setting up, tidying up or helping at the sessions.
