Awayday

All regular worshippers should have received a letter in the New Year outlining our plans to look at the three key themes of the United Reformed Church’s renewal programme Vision4Life during June and July.

We aim to look at the first two on Sunday mornings – 8th June on how we engage with the Bible, and 29th June on exploring Prayer.

For the Evangelism theme we have decided to focus on this at this at our Day Away...

Church Day Away

Sharing our Faith

Saturday 5th July at Ryde URC (Haylands)

Please make sure that this date is in you diary and look out for full details soon.

Prayer Group For The Suffering Church

The prayer group has been meeting in Shanklin for 22 years this year and comes from several different churches.

When it first started, it met every week and over the years those attending have learnt so much as they have prayed for our brothers and sisters who are suffering  persecution for their faith and have seen wonderful answers to prayer.

The next meeting is on Monday, 12th May at 14:00 in the church - please use the Landguard Road entrance.

If you would like to know more, please speak to Pat Moore, Sue White or Jane Hancock at Church.
